Apart from running Chromie Time - a way for players to choose which expansion to level up through - Chromie just tends to have the most interaction with mortals. Nozdormu is destined to be transformed into Murozond, leader of the Infinite Dragonflight - who are here to make sure this transformation goes ahead.
